Pre-commercial R&D services for innovative personal protective equipment for first responders (ACTIVE PCP)

Summary

The ACTIVE PCP joint procurement, led by KEMEA, commissions research and development services for innovative personal protective equipment for first responders, including police, firefighters and emergency medical services working in complex CBRN and hazardous-material environments. A framework agreement will support three successive phases: solution design, prototyping, and final development and testing, with the aim of producing a limited number of initial products. The overall procurement budget is capped at €3,650,000, including VAT and other costs.
