Contract for the complete exome sequencing service

Summary

This tender concerns the provision of a complete exome sequencing service for up to about 600 samples under the PI25/01998 project at Hospital Gregorio Marañón. The service covers end-to-end processing from DNA receipt and quality control to library preparation with UMIs, exome capture by hybrid capture, mass sequencing, bioinformatic analysis and delivery of results. Outputs will include standard files (FASTQ, BAM/CRAM, VCF) and CNVs, plus per-sample quality-control reports and metadata. The project is financed by PI25/01998 through the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII) with EU co-financing. The contract duration is 24 months with the possibility of a further 24-month extension. Proposals are evaluated on multiple criteria, with price accounting for 60 points, technical criteria for 30 points and environmental criteria for 10 points. Suppliers must hold ISO certificates (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001:2022, ISO 17025:2017), have large-scale exome sequencing experience, and provide a fully documented, reproducible workflow. Deliverables include data in FASTQ, BAM/CRAM, VCF and CNVs, plus per-sample QC reports, sequencing metadata and workflow descriptions.
