Design and manufacture of metal stoplogs for the Kain and Hérinnes locks
Summary
The Walloon Public Service is procuring the design, manufacture and delivery of two metal stoplogs for the Kain and Hérinnes locks on the Upper Scheldt. Each stoplog will have a 14-metre span and a total height of 6 metres. The work includes on-site measurements, execution calculations, workshop fabrication and transport to a storage site, as well as guidance on storage, maintenance and safe handling and as-built documentation. The contract period is 240 calendar days.
