Supply of Steel Wire Ropes and Regatta-Course Buoy Slings
Summary
The procurement is for steel wire ropes and buoyancy-line slings for a regatta course. The supply comprises eight stainless-steel ropes with a diameter of 6 mm: five lengths of 1,100 m and three lengths of 1,250 m. The rope construction must be 1 × 19, right-hand lay and dry; the steel must be AISI 316, with a nominal wire strength of 1,570 N/mm². The ropes must be delivered on drums in the specified lengths and fitted with stainless-steel attachments every 10 m. Each attachment must have a swivel connection allowing a buoy to be fitted with a snap fastener. Attachments must be pressed onto the rope so that they cannot slide along it and the rope construction is not damaged. The supply also includes 1,500 buoy slings: braided cord with an eye at each end and a fastener that allows quick attachment to and removal from a buoy. Delivery is due by 25 November 2026 to a location designated by the contracting authority in Wałcz; the offer price must include delivery, packaging and insurance costs. Price is the only award criterion. Equivalent products are permitted, but the bidder must prove equivalence; stated individual parameters may differ by up to ±5%.
