Supply, installation and maintenance of air-oxygen mixers, monitoring systems and consumables

Summary

The contract covers the supply and installation of medical air-oxygen gas mixers, oxygen concentration (FiO₂) monitoring systems, suitable flowmeters and associated consumables, together with commissioning, warranty, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance. Equipment must continuously measure the FiO₂ actually delivered to the patient, display it in real time and provide audible and visual alarms for high and low levels. The mechanical mixer and monitoring system must be usable, ordered, priced and replaceable separately, so a functioning monitor does not have to be replaced when the mixer is changed. Flowmeter options must suit different clinical uses: low neonatal flows, including approximately 3 and 5 L/min, paediatric and intermediate needs, and higher flows up to approximately 20 L/min. The bidder must describe each flowmeter’s range, accuracy, minimum and maximum flow, and operating conditions. The framework agreement has a maximum value of EUR 800,000 and will be awarded to one economic operator. Award criteria are price (60%), quality (10%) and after-sales service (30%).
