Infrastructure modernisation of the Hradec Králové–Týniště nad Orlicí railway section

Summary

The tender concerns modernisation works on the infrastructure section of the railway line between Hradec Králové and Týniště nad Orlicí. It is one of three related procurements; separate tenders cover energy systems and signalling and communications equipment. The list and precise scope of the works are set out in the tender documents. The planned works period is 41 months, starting on 1 March 2027. Bids must be submitted electronically by 9:00 a.m. on 22 October 2026 and remain valid for nine months. A tender guarantee of CZK 50 million is required; it may be provided as a cash deposit, bank guarantee or guarantee insurance. The bid price must not exceed CZK 4,705,646,556 excluding VAT, or the bidder will be excluded. Price is the sole award criterion. Contract performance requirements include, among other things, electronic invoicing, use of recycled track ballast and use of the BIM method.
