Demolition and environmental remediation of the buildings at Sankt Lukas Vej 7A–7C – main contract

Summary

Gentofte Municipality is procuring a main contract for demolition and environmental remediation of the existing buildings at Sankt Lukas Vej 7A–7C. The work covers approximately 1,980 m² of building area, including basements, together with associated structures, foundations, ground slabs, installations and utility lines. Before demolition, asbestos, PCB, lead and other hazardous substances must be removed and properly managed. Construction and demolition waste must be sorted for reuse where possible. Yellow bricks from the buildings must be removed, cleaned, documented and stored for reuse in the new development. The work will take place on a restricted site. The neighbouring care home will remain operational throughout, and construction activity may take place on the adjacent site. The contractor must coordinate shared access, control noise, dust and vibration, and coordinate with the neighbouring project. Options include providing a temporary alternative access road and parking area, operating and maintaining them for up to 36 months and subsequently reinstating the site, as well as demolishing the link corridor between the care home and the neighbouring building. These options must be priced but are excluded from the price used for bid evaluation. The estimated contract value is DKK 3,500,000. This is a restricted procedure, with five of the most suitable applicants invited to tender. Price accounts for 60% of the evaluation and quality for 40%; quality covers environmental remediation, waste management, site organisation and staffing. The application deadline is 2 November 2026. The planned work period is 1 September to 26 November 2027. Applications and tenders must be submitted electronically through Dalux and in Danish. Applicants must meet the financial and reference requirements and provide an ESPD and the required declarations.
