Construction of an ice rink canopy in Tarnowskie Góry

Summary

The contract is for construction of a canopy over the ice rink at Obwodnica 8 in Tarnowskie Góry. The works include a glued-laminated timber frame, a sandwich-panel roof and west wall, column foundations, rainwater drainage, lightning protection, installation of 56 linear 60 W LED lights, surveying and site clearance. The service building, its installations and the associated site development are outside the contract. The contracting authority will supply some of the glued-laminated timber; the bidder must price the remainder of the structure in accordance with the design. A site visit is recommended before preparing the offer. The works must be completed within seven months of contract signature and no later than 31 May 2027. The warranty and defect-liability period must be at least 60 months. The offer must cover the entire contract and include a PLN 25,000 tender guarantee. Price accounts for 85% of the evaluation and the warranty period for 15%; a longer period earns additional points, up to a total of eight years. Before signing the contract, the selected bidder must provide performance security equal to 5% of the total offer price. Bidders must demonstrate financial capacity of at least PLN 1,000,000, the specified construction experience, and appropriately qualified construction and electrical works managers.
