Modernisation of the grit chamber at the wastewater treatment plant

Summary

The tender concerns the complete modernisation of the grit chamber at the Grabica wastewater treatment plant. The contractor must supply and install a new grit chamber integrated with a wastewater receiving station, remove the existing equipment, and replace two soft-sealed isolation valves in the measuring chamber with electrically operated actuators. The work also includes integration with the existing process systems, necessary pipework, electrical and control works, testing and commissioning, documentation, and free training for 5–10 staff members designated by the contracting authority. All equipment must be new, complete and operational, and the work must be completed within 120 days of contract signature. The bidder must demonstrate at least one properly completed supply-and-installation contract worth at least PLN 500,000 gross, performed within the last three years for a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of at least 200 m³. A PLN 9,000 tender guarantee is required. Price accounts for 60% of the evaluation and a 24–72-month warranty, matched by an equal liability period, accounts for 40%. Before contract signature, the successful bidder must provide performance security equal to 5% of the gross tender price and maintain liability insurance throughout the contract, with cover at least equal to the gross contract value.
