Transitional and supplementary management of Engbertsdijksvenen 2026–2028

Summary

Staatsbosbeheer is procuring three years of transitional and supplementary nature management in the approximately 600-hectare Engbertsdijksvenen Natura 2000 area. The work includes manually and mechanically removing woody growth and invasive plants, crushing bracken, and mowing grasslands, banks and verges. Indicative areas include approximately 420 hectares of manual and 205 hectares of mechanical woody-growth removal, 145 hectares of manual removal of black cherry shoots, and 29 hectares of mowing; the contract ceiling is €578,500 excluding VAT.
