Species Management Plan (SMP)

Summary

The Municipality of Beverwijk is procuring ecological research and preparation of a Species Management Plan (SMP) for the existing built-up areas of Beverwijk and Wijk aan Zee. The work includes the supporting mitigation, compensation, monitoring, administrative and implementation plans, and preparing and submitting an area-wide environmental permit application for flora and fauna activities, with the aim of obtaining the permit. The contract is a single lot, with an estimated value of €300,000; implementation of physical measures and the monitoring itself are outside its scope.
