Dynamic Purchasing System for Waste Transport

Summary

Midwaste is establishing a dynamic purchasing system for road transport in the Netherlands of non-hazardous waste and material streams. It has three categories: walking-floor trailer transport, transport and possible provision of roll-off containers, and tipper-truck transport. Indicative combined volumes are about 60,000 tonnes of household residual waste and 20,000 tonnes of other streams in 2027; from 2028, about 230,000 tonnes of household residual waste, 130,000 tonnes of household organic waste, and 50,000 tonnes of other streams. These forecasts are not guaranteed.
