Tender detail
Major tree maintenance and emergency pruning
Summary
The tender concerns major tree maintenance and removal services for the Municipality of Waalwijk, ordered as individual work assignments. The work includes maintaining tree belts, felling trees, grinding stumps and filling the resulting holes. The contractor must also carry out emergency pruning following storms or other dangerous situations and, when required, assist municipal staff with pruning shaped trees, including pollarded willows and pleached lime trees. For emergencies, the contractor must be available and reachable 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and arrive at the site within two hours of being called out. A framework agreement will be awarded to one contractor for 1 January to 31 December 2027, with three possible one-year extensions. The estimated total value over a maximum of four years is €400,000, with a ceiling of €450,000; the agreement ends automatically when that ceiling is reached. These estimates do not guarantee a minimum volume of orders. Price is the sole award criterion, and the tender with the lowest total price wins. The bidder must meet the qualification requirements and provide supporting evidence, including a reference worth at least €150,000 for tree maintenance and emergency pruning completed within the last three years, the required insurance, and evidence of quality and safety management. The contractor must provide trained staff with the required certificates and machine-operation skills. The tender must include the signed European Single Procurement Document, a company-register extract, the reference form, and the price sheet and weekly-report format. Submit the tender electronically in Dutch through TenderNed by 10:00 on 17 November 2026.
