Exhibition Design and Art Direction at Teylers Museum

Summary

The tender concerns the integrated exhibition design and art direction of Teylers Museum’s public-facing areas in Haarlem. The work includes designing information for permanent historic presentations and educational content, developing a possible multimedia or audio-tour concept, creating spatial and visitor-experience solutions for the entrance hall, Great Hall and Garden Room, preparing a wayfinding vision, coordinating design disciplines, guiding production and installation, managing budgets and providing aftercare. The planned service period is from 22 February 2027 to 1 November 2029. This is a two-stage restricted procedure, with up to 5 participants invited to the second stage. Participation requires proof of average annual turnover of at least EUR 500,000, the specified museum-design experience, references, a suitability memo of no more than two A4 pages and the required five-person core team. The award criteria are price at 20% and quality at 80%.
