Winter road maintenance in Vecsaule Parish, route Vecsaule 2

Summary

The procurement covers winter maintenance of roads in Vecsaule Parish, Bauska Municipality, on route Vecsaule 2. The contractor must clear snow from roads and streets and, where required, from the expanded areas at bus stops, parking areas, intersections and other locations specified in the technical specification. The contract runs until 30 April 2028 or until its maximum value has been used, whichever occurs first; actual work volumes depend on need and weather, and the full estimated volume is not guaranteed. The financial offer must price 1,092 km of snow clearance, 10 hours of clearing side-road entrances and snowdrifts, and 128 units of 100 m² for clearing open areas. Work must start within one hour after an instruction is received. It must be completed within 6 hours on Class B roads and within 12 hours on Class C and D roads. The bidder must have access to at least one machine with a power output of at least 90 hp and a snowplough with a working width of at least 3 metres, as well as at least one front loader. The contract will be awarded to the lowest-priced compliant bid. Bids must be submitted electronically by 10:00 on 20 October 2026. The procurement is not divided into lots, and variants are not permitted.
