Renovation of the PAX tank at Lapua under a split-contract arrangement

Summary

Lapuan Jätevesi Oy is procuring the renovation of a PAX chemical tank at its wastewater treatment plant in Lapua. The split contract comprises a main building works package, including earthworks and lining and coating work, plus separate water and sewer and mechanical works packages. The project includes demolition of structures, pipework and equipment in a discontinued bypass-water treatment basin, installation of a new PAX tank and chemical pumping equipment, and construction of the chemical unloading area and associated stormwater pipes. The main works are scheduled for completion by 5 February 2027, with earthworks related to the chemical unloading area due by 28 May 2027.
