Renovation of the Ruunaniemi pier and other area structures in the Kajaani region

Summary

The procurement concerns the renovation of the Ruunaniemi pier and other area structures in the Kajaani region. The contract covers rebuilding the entire pier structure, dismantling the old structure along with all associated works and materials, constructing a wooden pedestrian bridge, building a crushed-stone path, and upgrading a parking area. Optionally, two small buildings in Ruunaniemi may be demolished; any such option will be communicated to the contractor separately. This is a lump-sum contract and will follow the YSE 1998 general contracting terms (RT 16–10660). The contractor acts as the main contractor and responsible party under applicable law. A site visit is scheduled for Monday, 28 September 2026 at 14:00. If attendance is not possible, the bidder must provide credible evidence of self-visit (date, time, and photo). The work must be performed continuously after start; the work sites are shown in the attached site plan. The works may start in spring after snowmelt and must be completed and accepted by 1 June 2027.
