Summary
The University of Helsinki is establishing an entirely electronic dynamic purchasing system for sequencing and related laboratory and bioinformatics services involving human-derived biological samples. The scope includes sample reception and quality control, nucleic acid preparation, library preparation and enrichment, sequencing, primary to optional tertiary bioinformatics analysis, secure data delivery and optional archiving. Covered methods include whole-genome and whole-exome sequencing, targeted DNA and RNA sequencing, RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq, Hi-C, short- and long-read sequencing, Sanger sequencing, single-cell workflows and target enrichment. Suppliers meeting the suitability requirements may join the system throughout its validity.
