24-hour residential care services for older people

Summary

The procurement covers 24-hour residential care services for older people in two lots: long-term permanent accommodation and short-term accommodation, which may be temporary or recurring. The service must include round-the-clock care and support, meals, laundry and cleaning, as well as activities promoting residents’ well-being, health, functional capacity, independence, participation and social interaction in an accessible, safe and home-like environment. The service unit must be located in the Kanta-Häme region. The contract runs from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2030 and may be extended by three one-year option periods. The estimated total value excluding VAT is up to EUR 385 million over a calculated seven-year period, but this is a non-binding estimate and the contracting authority assumes no minimum purchase obligation.
