Maintenance service for the Ourense City Council data centre equipment

Summary

The tender is for preventive and corrective maintenance of the Ourense City Council data centre equipment, divided into four lots: (1) two APC uninterruptible power supply (UPS) units; (2) three in-row data-centre cooling units and two wall-mounted air conditioners; (3) two IBM DS4700 Express Model 70 storage arrays; and (4) a Silent Diesel Generator Set GF4-30. The services include scheduled inspections, fault response and repair, necessary replacement parts, labour and travel costs as specified for each lot. Lots 1 and 2 require service coverage around the clock throughout the year; lot 3 also requires year-round, 24/7 support with defined response and resolution times. Lot 4 requires two inspections each year. The contractor must provide the required inspection and service reports. Bidders may tender for one or more lots, which are evaluated separately. The total estimated budget is EUR 25,195.72 excluding VAT and EUR 30,486.82 including VAT. The lot budgets excluding VAT are EUR 9,350.88, EUR 12,113.64, EUR 1,980 and EUR 1,751.20 respectively. For lots 1 and 2, price is worth 93 points and improved response times up to 7 points; for lot 3, price is worth 97 points and improved response and resolution times up to 3 points; for lot 4, price is the sole award criterion and is worth 100 points. Bids must be submitted electronically in accordance with the tender documents. Participation requires evidence of the specified turnover and comparable experience, as well as the required declarations. Funding is planned from 2027, and award is conditional on the funding resources being effectively confirmed.
