Comprehensive maintenance of the Datalogger system for the Biology Department of the Guardia Civil Criminalistics Service

Summary

The procurement covers comprehensive maintenance of the Datalogger temperature-monitoring system used by the Biology Department of the Guardia Civil Criminalistics Service. The service covers 46 probes (44 temperature probes and 2 temperature-and-humidity probes) at the laboratory in Madrid and will run for 24 months, from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2028. The contractor must carry out 24 monthly preventive maintenance visits and two calibrations, repair faults, and provide round-the-clock telephone response within no more than 3 hours and on-site response and travel within no more than 48 hours. Technicians must be specifically trained on the relevant equipment, and the company’s procedures must be certified to UNE-EN ISO 9001 and UNE-EN ISO 14001. Repairs must carry a warranty of at least 24 months. Required parts, labour, software and firmware updates, and a replacement unit including transport must be provided at no extra charge. The estimated contract value is €41,300 excluding VAT and €49,973 including 21% VAT. Price accounts for 80% of the award score, an improvement in telephone response time for 10%, and an improvement in fault-response and travel time for 10%. Bids must be submitted electronically in a single file with the required bid and responsible-declaration forms. The bidder must undertake to collect waste generated by maintenance and replacement-part work and send it for compliant waste management.
