Supply of Magnetrons for X- and S-Band Radars

Summary

The contract covers the supply, over 36 months and against individual orders, of magnetrons for X-band and S-band radar equipment at Spain’s maritime rescue coordination centres and remote stations. The specified types are MG5223F, MG5239T, MG5424, M5089T and MG5230T. Four types marked with an asterisk must have high-quality banana connectors soldered to the cables. Each order must be delivered within two weeks, and each magnetron has a one-year warranty from delivery. The tender budget and estimated value are €200,000 excluding VAT; VAT is 21%. Bids must state the unit price of each type and the requested delivery costs. Evaluation compares unit prices and additional delivery costs to mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands; the lowest price receives the highest score for each award criterion. The bid must cover the entire procurement as a single package, with no alternatives. Tenderers must demonstrate the required turnover and experience supplying similar goods. No provisional guarantee is required, but the successful tenderer must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the tender amount.
