Renovation and enhancement of Plaza Ibiza in Adra

Summary

The contract covers the renovation of Plaza Ibiza and its children’s playground in Adra, including the supply and installation of playground equipment and urban furniture. The works will affect approximately 500 m² and include replacing the paving, creating a planted raised area, and installing new play equipment, benches and other park furnishings. The play area is to have accessible coloured rubber surfacing; the design also includes GRC-clad walls and a pergola on the south side. The estimated total contract value is €224,336.42 including VAT (€185,402 excluding VAT). The maximum duration is six months. The bid must include a technical description and works schedule, information on equipment quality and compliance, and a priced offer with a breakdown supporting the amount. Evaluation considers price (60 points), shorter completion time and an extended warranty, as well as technical, quality, maintenance, work-planning, social and environmental aspects. Bidders must demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity, including relevant construction experience from the last five years and sufficient turnover in each of the last three years. Electronic submission is not allowed; bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes. No tender guarantee is required, but the successful bidder must provide a performance guarantee of 5% of the contract award amount excluding VAT.
