Auxiliary and support services for the 2027 Three Kings Parade

Summary

The contract covers auxiliary and support services for preparing and delivering Toledo’s Three Kings Parade on 5 January 2027. The contractor must rent, transport, install and remove the safety and perimeter barriers: 660 metres of 3.5 × 1.9 m high barriers on Avenida de Portugal and a total of 5,000 metres of 1.9 × 1.15 m barriers along both sides of the parade route. The service also requires 65 event-support assistants and machinery to move the barriers and sweets distributed during the parade. Installation and removal must meet the deadlines specified for 5 January; the event department may adjust the timetable. The service lasts one day. The estimated contract value is €26,500 excluding VAT, and the maximum budget is €32,065 including VAT. Price is the sole award criterion, and the offer must not exceed the budget ceiling. Bidders must submit a responsible declaration and price offer electronically. No specific turnover, reference or professional-qualification threshold is required, although the bidder must be legally entitled to provide the service. The successful bidder must hold third-party liability insurance with cover of at least €200,000 per claim. The contractor is responsible for providing the necessary staff and equipment, meeting safety requirements and paying its staff, and must comply with applicable employment and occupational-safety rules.
