Preventive and corrective maintenance of an X-ray diffractometer and spectrometer

Summary

The contract covers preventive and corrective maintenance of two X-ray instruments at the Institute of Chemical Technology: a CUBIX PRO diffractometer and a ZETIUM spectrometer. The contractor must carry out one preventive maintenance visit each year and mandatory safety and type-approval inspections in June and December, issue inspection certificates, and attend to and repair reported faults within no more than three working days. Maintenance must follow the manufacturer’s procedures and include original spare parts, labour, travel and subsistence costs; qualified telephone technical support must also be available. Work will take place at the institute’s premises in Valencia. The contract runs for 12 months from 16 February 2027 and may be extended for up to 48 months in 12-month periods. It is not divided into lots. The estimated value is €39,434 excluding VAT (€47,715.14 including VAT). Price is the sole award criterion and carries up to 100 points. Bidders must meet the turnover and technical-capacity requirements. The best-ranked bidder must also prove the relevant authorisation from Spain’s Nuclear Safety Council and provide the required equality plan and confirmation of the share of employees with disabilities, or explain why those requirements do not apply.
