Health and safety coordination for phase 3 of the Camp de Tarragona tramway works

Summary

The contract covers technical assistance for coordinating health and safety on construction works for phase 3 of the new Camp de Tarragona tramway: a viaduct on Ramon d’Olzina Avenue and a new underground access to Vila-seca Station. The coordinator will oversee safe working arrangements, coordinate the application of general safety principles, review the contractor’s health and safety plan and provide monthly reports. Additional coordination may be commissioned as needed during the works’ 24-month warranty period. The expected duration is 15 months, with up to three additional months for inspection and acceptance; the contract remains in force through the 24-month warranty period. The budget is €129,484.55 excluding VAT (€156,676.31 including VAT): a fixed €107,903.79 excluding VAT for services during construction and a variable €21,580.76 excluding VAT for possible warranty-period work. Bids are assessed on price (up to 45 points) and the technical team’s experience and BIM knowledge (up to 55 points). Bidders must submit the required team and experience details and hold the required professional indemnity insurance; the successful bidder must appoint a coordinator and team meeting the qualification requirements.
