Concession to manage and operate the bar at the Rocallisa Civic Centre

Summary

The concession covers the management and operation of the bar at the Rocallisa Civic Centre. The concessionaire will use the bar premises and equipment and run the service, including cleaning and maintenance, at its own commercial risk. The bar area is 98.75 m²; the adjoining multipurpose room may also be used only with the municipality’s prior authorisation. Minimum opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00–13:00 and 16:00–19:00. Bar service must also be provided outside normal hours for public events when the municipality gives seven days’ notice. The initial term is one year, with up to three extensions by mutual agreement, for a maximum total term of four years. Bidders must offer a monthly concession fee of at least €250. The fee is worth up to 80 points, hospitality or catering experience up to 10 points, and a proposed daily extension of opening hours up to 10 points. In addition to the fee, the concessionaire pays 60% of the building’s total electricity costs and bears the other operating costs and business risk; the municipality guarantees no minimum income. The concessionaire must keep the bar, toilets and terrace clean, comply with food-hygiene rules, and hold the required operating authorisation and food-handler certificates. Third-party liability insurance with at least €300,000 cover and a definitive guarantee of €1,799.53 are required. No minimum financial or technical solvency is required.
