Waste collection and removal for Ocaña II Prison

Summary

The tender covers the collection, transport and delivery to an authorized waste manager of municipal waste, biological waste, used mattresses, and waste electrical and electronic equipment generated at Ocaña II Prison. The service includes installing and maintaining a 20 m³ compactor and collecting municipal waste weekly; up to two additional collections may be requested during the contract, each to be carried out within 48 hours. Biological waste is collected quarterly, with an estimated annual volume of 634 kg. Mattresses and electrical and electronic waste are collected annually. The planned contract period is 1 January to 31 December 2027, and the estimated total value is €47,880.62 including VAT. Bidders must meet the technical and environmental requirements and comply with prison security rules. They must possess the specified minimum turnover, insurance cover and similar-service experience, although the tender documents waive the obligation to formally prove these capacities. Price accounts for 95% of the score. The remaining 5% is available for offering to install a battery collection point in the prison offices and arrange collection for recycling twice during the contract.
