Cleaning and pest-control services for Civil Guard patrol vessels in Valencia

Summary

The contract covers cleaning, disinfection, insect control and rodent control, together with management of the resulting waste, for six patrol vessels operated by the Civil Guard’s provincial maritime service in Valencia. Work will be carried out at the vessels’ usual berth in Valencia. The service includes, among other tasks, regular cleaning of living quarters, the bridge, galley, sanitary facilities and exterior decks; disinfection of frequently touched surfaces; and preventive pest monitoring and treatment when needed. Oily liquids from the engine room and bilges, chemical waste, greywater and sewage are excluded. Routine cleaning is required daily. Cushion covers must be changed and washed every 15 days, and mattress covers every 30 days. Air-conditioning systems are serviced every two months, insect control is generally carried out quarterly, and disinfection twice a year. Work must begin within 12 hours after a routine patrol, within 4 hours after an interception or boarding operation, and within 2 hours in a health emergency or biological-risk incident, with round-the-clock emergency cover. The contract runs for 45 months, from 1 February 2027 to 31 October 2030, with no extension option. The budget is €90,000 and is exempt from VAT. Price is the sole award criterion. Bids must be submitted electronically and documents digitally signed by an authorised representative. Bidders must account for the technical lead and pest-treatment staff qualification requirements, registered products, necessary equipment and supplies, and documentation of the work.
