Surface and window cleaning and floor polishing

Summary

The contract covers cleaning services at the Parc Taulí Institute of Research and Innovation buildings at Torre de l’Aigua and Gran Via in Sabadell. The work includes cleaning all surfaces, including windows, lights and roofs; polishing and buffing floors; disinfection where required; sorting waste and taking it to municipal street containers; and handling and destroying confidential paper. At least two large containers must be provided for confidential paper, and a destruction certificate must be issued. The service also includes replenishing washroom supplies and cleaning and disinfecting the Gran Via laboratories under procedures for biological-risk and infection-control situations. The minimum cleaning workload is 37.5 hours per week, or 7.5 hours per day from Monday to Friday starting at 18:00. Route hours for window cleaning and floor polishing/buffing, as well as supervision hours, are additional. The bidder must submit a staffing contingency plan ensuring 100% cover for holidays, illness and strikes, and specify the maximum replacement time in hours. The contract involves taking over two cleaners: one works 17.5 hours per week (43.75%; annual gross salary €8,157.96; seniority date 25 March 2025), and the other works 20 hours per week (50%; annual gross salary €9,296.28; seniority date 17 March 2025).
