Broadcasts of Girona FC and Girona basketball matches in the 2026–27 season

Summary

The City of Girona is seeking a provider to deliver open live radio and website-streamed coverage of Girona FC, the Bàsquet Girona men’s team and the Spar Girona women’s team during the 2026–27 season. The service covers Girona FC’s Lliga Hypermotion and Copa del Rey matches, Bàsquet Girona’s ACB League, Copa del Rey and European matches, and Spar Girona’s women’s league, Copa de la Reina and EuroLeague matches. The contractor must prepare pre- and post-match news for Girona FM and the Local Audiovisual Network (XAL), and produce a 30-minute weekly basketball programme during the season, broadcast on Monday or Tuesday. Live coverage is to come from Montilivi Stadium for Girona FC home matches and the Fontajau arena for home basketball matches. Away matches are to be covered from the radio studio using television or online streams. If no suitable stream or television coverage is available for an away match, that match will not be broadcast or paid for. Broadcasts and journalistic content must be in Catalan. The contractor must supply an IP broadcasting system, arrange the required accreditations, connections and permissions, and deliver agreed content to XAL. The City provides basic audio equipment; the contractor is responsible for handling and returning it. The estimated contract term is 10 months from 10 October 2026, with an option to extend for one year. The estimated total budget is €27,611.51 including VAT. Maximum unit prices including VAT are €280.76 per Girona FC match, €185.55 per Bàsquet Girona match and €159.70 per Spar Girona match. Price is worth up to 90 points; a commitment to provide social-media coverage of the matches is worth up to 10 points. If offered, this must include a pre-match post and a final-result summary on Instagram, and on Twitter a pre-match post, a half-time update for football or updates after each basketball quarter, and a final-match summary.
