Tender detail
Lease of the Dehesa Boyal grazing land in El Gordo
Summary
El Gordo Town Council is leasing the Dehesa Boyal land for 10 years for grazing and livestock keeping. The land is divided into two separate lots: Lot W covers 215.4659 hectares and Lot E covers 215.6156 hectares. A bidder may submit no more than one offer for each lot. The minimum annual rent is €38,939 for Lot W and €38,552.07 for Lot E. Price is the sole award criterion for each lot, which will be awarded separately to the bidder offering the highest amount. The lease cannot be extended. Bids must be submitted in two signed, sealed envelopes. The submission period is 15 calendar days starting on the day after publication of the contract notice. Bids are to be submitted on paper, ordinarily at the Town Council offices between 9:00 and 14:00. Bidders must establish their own legal capacity or that of the entity they represent, and declare that they are not prohibited from contracting and are up to date with tax and social security payments. The tenant must use the land for grazing and livestock keeping, obtain the permits required for the activity and take out insurance covering potential damage. The first year's rent is payable before the contract is signed. The tenant must minimise harm to the environment and local residents and, at the end of the lease, remove installations and restore the land.
