Supply and installation of DTT transmission equipment and telecommunications infrastructure in Burgos Province – Phase VI

Summary

The contract covers the creation of telecommunications infrastructure, improvement of existing facilities and rehabilitation of disused sites, together with the supply and installation of digital terrestrial television (DTT) equipment to improve coverage. The works will take place in Castrecías, Tobes, Los Valcárceles, Albillos, Valle de Losa, Olmos de la Picaza and Villaescusa la Sombría. The scope includes DTT repeaters and antennas, towers or technical cabins, security fencing, and associated civil and electrical works. The electrical connection in Albillos is included, whereas the external electrical connection in Villaescusa la Sombría is to be arranged by the local municipality. The contractor must survey each site before installation, submit a work plan, and document and test each intervention. Warranty and maintenance must run for at least three years and may be extended in the bid to a maximum total of five years. The execution period is three months, with no extension available. The maximum budget is €210,000 including VAT; bids may not exceed the net limit of €173,553.72. Price carries 85 points and an extended warranty and maintenance period up to 15 points. The contract is not divided into lots. Bidders must hold the required telecommunications installer registration, insurance and relevant experience, and provide calibrated measurement equipment. The main contractor must perform installation and commissioning itself; only excavation, earthworks and concreting may be subcontracted.
