Organisation and delivery of two bus driver preparation courses (IF26001)

Summary

The contract covers the organisation and delivery of two in-person bus-driver preparation courses in Melilla over a period of up to 12 months. The courses are for a total of 30 unemployed people over 24 who are registered as residents of Melilla, registered as unemployed with SEPE, hold a category B driving licence and have at least a primary-school qualification. Each course must provide at least 220 hours of instruction, covering road safety, vehicle systems and maintenance, passenger-transport rules, driving and rest periods, first aid, labour-market entry and practical bus driving. At least 20 hours of individual bus-driving practice must be provided per learner. The provider is also responsible for assessing learners and issuing diplomas, arranging work placements and insurance; learners receive EUR 2 for each hour actually attended if they achieve a satisfactory or passing result. The bid must include a price offer and detailed budgets for learning materials, uniforms and personal protective equipment (at least EUR 100 per learner), publicity (at least EUR 500) and accident insurance. Bidders must demonstrate financial and technical capacity, including relevant previous experience. The bid and required documents must be submitted electronically in Spanish. If necessary, eligible learners are selected by reference to the length of their unemployment, a work-compatible disability of at least 33%, and female gender.
