Extracurricular and complementary activities at the Sagrado Corazón de Jesús nursery school

Summary

This is a four-year service contract to provide extracurricular and complementary educational activities at the Sagrado Corazón de Jesús nursery school in Cuenca. The programme includes a naturalised interactive outdoor area, family sessions, music and art therapy, sensory and psychomotor activities, animal-assisted workshops, educational trips, children’s performances, and age-appropriate digital learning and educational robotics. Each school year must include at least weekly two-hour activities, one two-hour family session each quarter, one annual excursion within a maximum distance of 10 km, and one annual children’s performance. Activities are planned jointly with nursery staff, and some modules may be replaced by agreement. The contractor will organise and deliver the activities, provide the required specialist materials, and cover excursion transport. Every staff member involved must hold a negative certificate concerning sexual-offence records, and the bidder must appoint a programme coordinator. The estimated workload is 130 hours per school year. The budget is €5,700 per year and €22,800 for the four-year term, excluding VAT; VAT exemption applies subject to the statutory conditions. Contract changes are capped at 20% of the initial price, giving a maximum value of €27,360 including such changes. Payment is quarterly after satisfactory service delivery and submission of an invoice. Bidders must demonstrate annual turnover of at least €27,360 in the highest-turnover year of the last three completed financial years, and net assets of at least the same amount at the close of the latest relevant financial year. They must also show at least one similar service completed during the last three years, a suitably educated coordinator with at least five years’ experience, and appropriately qualified activity staff. Scoring considers price, additional sessions, additional materials and the coordinator’s experience beyond the minimum. Bids must be submitted electronically, and the successful bidder must provide a 5% final performance guarantee before contract award.
