Building cleaning, pest control and disinfection at the Béjar campus

Summary

The tender covers general cleaning of the buildings at the University of Salamanca’s Béjar campus, including rodent and insect control and disinfection at its School of Industrial Engineering. The services must be delivered as a coordinated, continuous whole; the contract is not divided into lots. The initial term is two years from 1 January 2027, or from a later contract-signing date, with two possible one-year extensions. The estimated ceiling for the initial two-year term is EUR 167,763.30 excluding VAT and EUR 202,993.60 including VAT; bids must not exceed the budget. Bidders must also state the hourly cleaning rate, which will apply in the event of contract changes. Evaluation awards up to 40 points for the technical proposal and up to 60 points for criteria assessed automatically; the financial offer accounts for up to 52 points. The technical plan is assessed on matters including service organisation, use of cleaning resources, cover arrangements and urgent work, staff training, quality control and environmental performance. Tenderers must demonstrate the required turnover and experience with comparable services and provide valid ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certificates or equivalents. Bids must be submitted electronically in Spanish or with an official Spanish translation. The successful tenderer must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the contract award amount excluding VAT.
