Architectural design and construction supervision for the Iberian Citadel surroundings
Summary
The procurement is for architectural services to plan an intervention around the Iberian Citadel in Calafell and supervise its construction. The aim is to improve access and connectivity from the beach area south of the railway to the archaeological site, which is currently difficult to see and reach. The work includes an outline design and basic and detailed design, together with relevant safety, activity-permit, fire-safety, energy-efficiency and building-services documentation; construction supervision; and evidence and documentation needed to bring the completed works into use. During construction, preparation of a modified design may also be required if the contracting authority approves a change. The contract is not divided into lots and uses a restricted procedure: eligible applicants are ranked, and up to the five highest-ranked candidates are invited to tender. Applicants must demonstrate the required financial capacity, relevant experience and qualified core and support staff. Tenders must include a technical memorandum and an initial graphic proposal. The estimated contract value is €172,020.26 excluding VAT, and the maximum tender budget is €172,445.42 including VAT.
