The procurement covers specialised ophthalmology services for protected workers in four lots: Girona, Tarragona, Lleida and Vilanova i la Geltrú, in Catalonia. Bidders may submit an offer for one or more lots. The initial term is one year, with up to three additional annual extensions, for a maximum total term of five years. The total initial budget is EUR 34,361.20, VAT exempt; the estimated total contract value including extensions is EUR 137,444.80. Services must be provided from a suitably authorised healthcare centre in the relevant municipality. The provider must deliver first and follow-up ophthalmology visits, diagnostic examinations and related care, mainly using its own staff, facilities and equipment. Each lot requires at least one practising ophthalmology specialist with at least three years of experience. The centre must provide accessible and compliant facilities, ophthalmology equipment, and at least ocular ultrasound, retinography and HRT/OCT examinations. Requests and examinations must generally be arranged within 48 hours, and patient care must be available for at least eight hours per day from Monday to Friday between 07:00 and 20:00. The tender is submitted electronically in one package. The economic offer uses unit prices and must cover the required services without exceeding the stated maximum unit prices. Awarding is based on 100 points: 49 for the economic offer and 51 for objective technical criteria, including additional ophthalmologists, additional experience, accessibility, extended opening hours and digital clinical-information tools.
