Ground investigation on the A93 between Mainburg and Holledau
Summary
The tender concerns ground investigations on the A93 between the Mainburg interchange and the Holledau interchange, in preparation for a major road renewal project. The work includes 96 boreholes 10–40 m deep (2,276 bore metres in total), soil sampling, installation of groundwater monitoring wells and CPT-U cone penetration tests; magnetometer-assisted unexploded-ordnance searches are also required near Wolnzach. The contractor must also arrange traffic safety and required permits, document samples and cores, and reinstate the work areas after drilling. Drilling must achieve an average of at least 40 bore metres per working day using at least two drilling rigs at the same time, at least one of which must be crawler-mounted. The submission deadline is 3 November 2026 at 12:00. The work must be completed within 16 weeks of contract award. Price is the sole award criterion. The contract is not divided into lots, and alternative tenders are not permitted.
