Replacement of the Oste Bridge with road alignment improvements

Summary

The Lower Saxony State Authority for Road Construction and Transport is procuring the replacement of the Oste Bridge on the B 73 between Hechthausen and Burweg. The new bridge will be built south of and parallel to the existing structure, with bored-pile foundations, a prestressed reinforced-concrete superstructure, bridge drainage, waterproofing and asphalt surfacing. The works also include temporary sheet-pile cofferdams and access platforms, riverbank protection, removal of preload materials, and associated environmental and construction-site measures; the contract is not divided into lots.
