Tender detail
Medical technology planning for ward refurbishment and intensive care expansion
Summary
The tender concerns specialist medical-technology planning for phases 2–8 of subproject 4 at the DRK Kliniken Berlin Westend hospital. The work covers refurbishment of wards 29, 1b and 4b and expansion of the intensive care unit, including the planned accommodation of eight intensive-care beds. Construction will take place in an operating hospital, so the design must account for continued hospital operations, phased construction and any applicable heritage-protection restrictions. The planning includes surveying existing technical systems, developing technical solutions, preparing cost and schedule plans, coordinating with the project team and contributing to budget documentation. The project budget is €10,235,000 including VAT and a 10% contingency allowance. The services will be commissioned in stages, and the offer must state a fixed lump-sum fee. Bids must be in German and submitted electronically by 16 October 2026. The offer must include the completed applicant questionnaire and award-criteria matrix, proof of professional liability insurance and the required declarations concerning grounds for exclusion. Evaluation will consider, among other things, the fee, the proposed project team and its members’ personal references; the precise evaluation rules are set out in the tender documents. The contract is not divided into lots, and variants are not permitted.
