Summary

The Ministry for Social Affairs, Labour and Health of Baden-Württemberg is procuring one fully automated immunoassay analyser for its public health laboratory in Stuttgart, for screening serum and plasma samples for hepatitis A, B and C, HIV and syphilis. The contract includes delivery, installation, commissioning and software, ongoing supplies of reagents, controls and other operating materials, as well as training, service and maintenance. The instrument may be offered for rental or purchase; the initial term is four years, with two optional two-year extensions. Estimated annual testing volumes are 500 for hepatitis A, 8,000 for hepatitis B, 10,000 each for hepatitis C and syphilis, and 20,000 for HIV.
