Outsourcing SAP Basis Operations

Summary

The tender concerns outsourcing SAP Basis operations for University Hospital Aachen and its connected SAP and non-SAP systems. The work includes continuous SAP and infrastructure monitoring, database administration, performance optimisation, interface monitoring, transport management, system and client copies, updates and security patches, incident resolution, documentation and round-the-clock on-call coverage. Systems are hosted in SAP’s HEC and PCE clouds, with some infrastructure on premises. The initial contract term is 24 months, with three possible 12-month extensions, for a maximum of 60 months. The bid must also price optional services: support for the SAP S/4HANA transformation (estimated at 120 project days), migration support for IaaS systems from HEC to PCE (100 project days), and SAP Cloud ALM consulting (120 project days). The bidder must provide the required SAP certifications, experienced specialists and relevant references from the previous three years. The bid and service concept must be submitted in German.
