Medical technology specialist planning for an angiography suite and hybrid operating room

Summary

The procurement covers specialist medical technology planning at the DRK Clinics’ Westend site in Berlin for the centralisation of a vascular surgery angiography suite, with provision for its future use as a hybrid operating room. The scope comprises technical equipment planning services for stages 2–8, including medical technology. The existing hospital will be refurbished while it remains operational, so the design must account for phased construction, minimising disruption to hospital operations, coordination of technical systems and heritage protection. The planner must attend and coordinate on site, including at the DRK Clinics’ Mitte site, where demolition of areas being vacated must be monitored. The project budget framework is EUR 3,300,000 gross, including VAT and a 10% contingency allowance.
