Technical building-services design: centralising supply and disposal, subproject 2

Summary

The contract concerns specialist building-services design for centralising supply and disposal flows in Building I at the DRK Kliniken Berlin Westend hospital complex. The work covers design phases 2–8 for wastewater, water and gas systems, heating, ventilation and building automation. The planned solution is an underground route through the basement, separating logistics from the movement of patients, staff and visitors. The design must account for the hospital remaining operational, possible phased construction and heritage-protection constraints. The work includes surveying and documenting existing systems, detailed needs and technical design, cost and schedule planning, and contributing to budget and decision documents. On-site supervision during construction is required; project meetings and coordination with other designers are also part of the assignment. The construction cost framework is EUR 10,280,000 including VAT and a 10% contingency allowance; this is not the fee for the design services. Bidders must offer a fixed lump-sum fee calculated on the basis of HOAI 2021, and services will be commissioned in stages. The contract is not divided into lots and variants are not permitted. The offer must be submitted electronically in German by 16 October 2026.
