Summary
The tender concerns the development of a nationwide, standardized procedure for identifying and assessing wildlife collision routes. The project uses geostatistical methods and geocoded accident data (EUSKa) to identify wildlife collision hotspots and to create a basis for the ongoing identification and prioritization of such routes, as well as to provide a scientifically grounded basis for estimating the economic costs of wildlife accidents.
