Experimental investigation of the PVC phenomenon

Summary

The University of Stuttgart is procuring experimental research and development services for testing rotating vortex cores (PVC) in multi-injector configurations under flight-relevant conditions as part of the POLSI project. The single lot covers the design and manufacture of injector geometry and an optical measurement ring, as well as preparation, execution and evaluation of experiments using LOX mass flows of 5–8 kg/s and a CH4/LOX mixture ratio of 2.8–3.8. Experimental data must be measured by 30 June 2027; the project is supported over a three-year period.
