Student transport in Rödinghausen

Summary

The contract covers dedicated school transport for pupils living in the city of Melle who attend Rödinghausen Comprehensive School, including the journeys to school and return trips after classes. Service starts on 7 January 2027 and initially runs until 31 July 2029. It renews one year at a time unless terminated by 30 September of the preceding year, and ends no later than 31 July 2032. Transport is provided on school days, excluding school holidays and public holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia. In the morning, pupils must arrive at school between 7:45 and 7:50 and must not be dropped off before 7:45. Return journeys follow the school timetable: two departures on Mondays, from 16:05 and 16:50; one on Tuesdays, from 13:30; two on Wednesdays, from 15:15 and 16:50; three on Thursdays, from 13:30, 16:05 and 16:50; and one on Fridays, from 13:30. The contractor must coordinate its route plan with the contracting authority, use approved stops and operate the service at the required times. Bidders must submit the required forms, a register extract, turnover and employee data, and references for bus passenger transport carried out during the last three years. Vehicles must meet the tender-document requirements, and drivers must satisfy the conditions concerning licences, experience, first-aid training, language skills and background checks. Offers must be submitted electronically in German by 3 November 2026 at 09:00. Price accounts for 90% of the assessment and vehicle environmental performance for 10%; emissions and fuel consumption each account for half of the environmental weighting.
