Transport service of goods and management personnel at Valencia Prison

Summary

This procurement concerns the provision of a transport service for goods and management personnel at Valencia Prison Antoni Asunción Hernández. The supplier will provide a vehicle with a driver to cover daily transports between the prison and Picassent and Valencia city, including urban transfers, to carry documents, hospital and toxicology samples, and other items, as well as assist with the center’s housekeeping tasks. The service comprises approximately 18 hours per week (Tuesdays to Thursdays 9:00-13:00, Mondays and Fridays 9:00-12:00), five days a week excluding holidays, with about one trip per day and an estimated total distance of around 70 km. If pickup at Picassent is delayed by more than 30 minutes, a replacement vehicle may be used. The contract duration is 12 months from the start date (01/11/2026 planned) with a possible extension for another 12 months. The base tender budget is 28,314 EUR (including 21% VAT). Proposals should include information on vehicle age (less than one year if indicated for scoring), and the possibility of performing auxiliary/messenger tasks.
