Analysis, operation, clearance and sludge recovery for the reed beds at Wathlingen wastewater treatment plant

Summary

Samtgemeinde Wathlingen is procuring six years of operational support and analytical monitoring for its wastewater treatment plant’s sludge reed beds, together with clearance, transport and recovery of sludge from three beds. Beds I, II and III are scheduled for clearance in 2027, 2029 and 2031, with approximately 2,350 tonnes per bed and 7,050 tonnes in total for recovery. The scope includes annual sampling and laboratory analysis, operational inspections and reporting, bed clearance, temporary storage and sludge recovery, preferably for agricultural use.
